Homeopathic arnica montana, commonly known as arnica, has been widely used in medicinal purposes for centuries. Quite often, arnica is the first remedy used in acute trauma--specifically injuries that involve bruising, sprains and head contusions--and after surgeries. Homeopathic remedies are available in many potencies: 6c, 30c and 200c. Arnica 30c is an ideal potency to start with.
Dispense 3 arnica 30c pellets from the homeopathic tube by holding the tube upside down and twisting the cap and allowing the pellets to drop in. Place the pellets under your tongue. Optimal absorption occurs here due to the abundant number of blood vessels present. The pellets quickly dissolve.
Dispense 3 arnica 30c pellets from the homeopathic tube by twisting the cap and allowing the pellets to drop in. Place pellets in a glass and cover with approximately 3 to 4 ounces of water. Gently stir the water with a plastic spoon until pellets have dissolved. Using the plastic spoon, place 1 teaspoon of the water under the tongue.
Take 3 pellets of arnica 30c or 1 teaspoon of the arnica liquid every 15 minutes. Do not do this for more than 3 hours. If symptoms have not subsided, a visit to the doctor's office is highly recommended.
Tip
Mint, coffee and aromatics may cause counteract or neutralize homeopathic remedies. It is best to avoid these substance while taking remedies.
Wait at least 20 minutes before or after ingesting food or beverages, as a clean mouth environment allows for optimal absorption.
Keep arnica 30c handy, as it is a great remedy to have available in times of bumps, bruises and teething.
Avoid storing your remedies in direct sunlight or in very warm places ( like a car), and close to aromatics. These situations may antidote the remedy.
Warning
If symptoms persist or have not subsided, consult a doctor. Avoid touching the arnica 30c. Homeopathic remedies are made with no binders, fillers or coatings, therefore are very clean. Homeopathic companies have designed the tubes in such a way that the pellets can easily dispense into the caps of the tube, avoiding any hand touching.
