As we age, our faces lose muscle tone and circulation, which can make lips appear thinner. There are no miracle, non-surgical cures for fuller lips. But exercises can firm the muscles around your mouth and increase the blood flow to your face. This, in turn, stimulates the production of collagen, which is a natural plumping substance for your lips.

Smile And Kiss

Smile as broadly as you can while keeping your mouth closed and your lips gently pressed together. Hold the smile for five seconds then pucker up your lips as if you are about to kiss someone. Make this action as exaggerated as possible by imagining you are trying to get the corners of your mouth to touch. Hold for another five seconds, relax and repeat the whole exercise 10 times.

Closed-Mouth Smile

Lift the corners of your mouth with exercises to prevent sagging. Fold your lips in over your teeth so you can only see the very outside of the lips. Then lift the corners of your mouth into a smile and hold for several seconds. Relax and repeat 10 times. As you get stronger increase the number of repetitions you do.

Lip Press With Resistance

Press your lips firmly together to almost form a straight line. Imagine there is something trying to open your mouth and work against that imaginary resistance to keep your lips together as firmly as possible. Place your middle fingers at the corner of your mouth and gently pull out to add extra resistance and prevent wrinkles from forming in your lips while in this position. Hold for about five seconds, relax and repeat 10 times.

Lip Circles

Keep your mouth closed and slightly pucker your lips, says the Genius Beauty health and lifestyle website. Slowly move your lips to the right and hold, then to the left and hold. Next, try to move them in a figure eight, first one way, then in the opposite direction. Repeat this series of movements 10 times.
