Veet offers two different types of hair removal solutions: depilatories and waxes. Depilatories are chemical solutions that break down hair so that it may be scraped off the body. Depilatories are also typically painless, except in cases of allergic reactions or sensitivity to the hair removal chemicals. Waxes adhere to the hair, allowing you to remove it from the root. This tends to be a more painful solution, but will also last longer than a depilatory. For convenient application, Veet provides both spray-on and cream depilatories.

Cream or Lotion

Wash your skin with mild soap and warm water. Dry the area completely.

Squeeze the cream or lotion onto the back of the included spatula. Use the spatula to spread a thin layer of the cream over the area from which you wish to remove hair.

Wait at least three minutes. You may have to wait longer depending on the thickness of the hair and the specific formulation of your Veet product. For instance, lotions designed for sensitive skin take a bit longer to work than the standard formulation.

Test a small area of skin by scraping the product off of your skin with the front of the spatula. If the hair from the area is removed completely, continue to remove the Veet lotion from your skin. If the hair appears unaffected, let the product sit on your skin for a few additional minutes. Do not exceed six minutes or the specific maximum time printed on your particular Veet formula.

Rinse the area to remove any remaining product and pat dry.

Spray-on

Wash your skin with mild soap and warm water. Dry the area completely.

Spray the product on your skin with the can approximately 5 cm away. Spray a thin, even layer over your skin using a continuous up-and-down motion.

Wax

Wash your skin with mild soap and warm water. Dry the area completely.

Rub a wax strip vigorously between your hands for approximately 5 seconds. This will warm the wax.

Peel the wax strips apart slowly. Press one of the strips onto the area of skin from which you wish to remove hair. Rub the strip onto your skin firmly in the direction of hair growth.

Hold your skin taut with one hand and grip the bottom of the wax strip with the other. Pull the strip from your skin in one swift motion in the direction opposite your hair growth.

Clean your skin with an included Perfect Finish Wipe. This will remove any remaining wax.

Tip

If you feel any irritation or sensitivity while using a Veet product, immediately remove the product from your skin and discontinue use.
