The neem tree is a tropical evergreen native to India that has been used for centuries for its medicinal properties. A mainstay in aryuvedic medicine, parts of the neem tree are anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-septic and anti-viral. Aryuvedic practitioners use all parts of the tree, including the flowers, leaves, bark, seeds and roots to relieve a variety of health conditions. Neem leaves are often made into tea to treat kidney, prostate and bladder ailments. The leaves also are used to treat leprosy, skin ulcers, intestinal worms and eye problems. Always consult with your doctor before trying any alternative treatments.

Pour the water over 2 oz. of fresh neem leaves. Steep for about five minutes.
