Everyone knows the benefits that exercise has on the body, eliciting a tighter and toned figure. Exercising your facial muscles, or "face yoga," may have a similar effect, helping to naturally lift and tone your face without costly injections, painful peels or invasive plastic surgery. Following a brief facial exercise regime of about 10 minutes per day can give you noticeably tighter muscles within a few weeks. As your muscles become stronger, the skin attached to them is tautened, yielding a more youthful look with less lines and wrinkles after several months.

Perform a smiling Buddha by folding your lips into your mouth so that they are not visible. Raise the corners of your mouth into a smile. Repeat 10 to 12 times.
Place your first fingers on your eyebrows and your thumbs on your cheekbones. Press upward with your fingers as you close your eyes and then hold your eyes closed while you count to 40.
Open your mouth in the shape of an "O." Position your lips over your teeth. Place your fingers at the corners of your lips and press up with your fingers as you maintain the "O" shape with your lip muscles. Hold for a count of two. Release the pressure with your fingers; repeat 20 times.
